En aquel tiempo, Jesús iba caminando de ciudad en ciudad y de pueblo en pueblo, proclamando y anunciando la Buena Noticia del reino de Dios, acompañado por los Doce y por algunas mujeres, que habían sido curadas de espíritus malos y de enfermedades: María la Magdalena, de la que habían salido siete demonios; Juana, mujer de Cusa, un administrador de Herodes; Susana y otras muchas que les servían con sus bienes (San Lucas 8, 1-3).
COMENTARIO
En esta su misión, le acompañan “los doce y algunas mujeres”, y el evangelista Lucas menciona el nombre de algunas de ellas. Este dejarse acompañar por algunas mujeres que también “lo ayudaban con sus bienes” es algo muy especial en aquella sociedad donde la mujer no era muy reconocida.
