El secretario general de la organización educativa Escuelas Católicas, José María Alvira, ha mostrado a Religión Confidencial su preocupación por la imposición ideológica que subyace en las leyes autonómicas de protección contra la discriminación por diversidad sexual y de género, y su aplicación en los centros educativos.
(Religión Confidencial/InfoCatólica) «Una cosa es el respeto máximo a las personas y por supuesto, la no discriminación, y otra la imposición ideológica», afirma Alvira a Religión Confidencial.
El secretario general de Escuelas Católicas, entidad que agrupa a 2.048 centros educativos, subraya que sobre este asunto, su organización está en permanente contacto con la Conferencia Episcopal para determinar cuál debe ser la forma de proceder. «Desde nuestros centros defenderemos la antropología cristiana a la vez que mostraremos un profundo respecto a todas las personas. Nuestros centros protegerán los proyectos de educación afectivo-sexual conforme a los principios católicos», señala a este Confidencial.
En esta línea, la posición de Escuelas Católicas «es de valentía para defender sus propuestas, pero a la vez prudencia y respeto», apunta Alvira.
