Como los discípulos de Juan y los fariseos estaban ayunando, vinieron unos y le preguntaron a Jesús: “Los discípulos de Juan y los fariseos ayunan ¿Por qué los tuyos no?” Jesús les contesta: “¿Es que pueden ayunar los amigos del esposo, mientras el esposo está con ellos? Mientras el esposo está con ellos, no pueden ayunar. Llegarán días en que les arrebatarán al esposo, y entonces ayunarán en aquel día. Nadie echa un remiendo de paño sin remojar a un manto pasado; porque la pieza tira del manto –lo nuevo de lo viejo- y deja un roto peor. Tampoco se echa vino nuevo en odres viejos; porque el vino revienta los odres, y se pierden el vino y los odres; a vino nuevo, odres nuevos” (San Marcos 2, 18-22).
COMENTARIO
Es buena la noticia que nos trae hoy el Evangelio, Jesús ha acampado entre nosotros y la Creación se ha renovado, lo viejo ha pasado y estamos viviendo lo nuevo.
Esta Palabra nos ayuda a estar contentos. Jesús el hijo de Dios, el novio que dice la Escritura, ha venido a este mundo y ha sido prendido, azotado, muerto y ha resucitado, pero se ha quedado con nosotros en la Eucaristía y también en las personas que nos rodean, en las que tenemos cerca y en los que están lejos. Se ha quedado en medio de la Creación, empezando por los seres más débiles y terminando por los más fuertes. En definitiva Dios, a través de Jesucristo, ha abierto el Cielo a toda la humanidad y nos ha regalado la oportunidad de tratarnos como hermanos. El amor se hace posible entre los humanos y la Creación se nos regala a todos.
Hay que seguir creyendo en la novedad del Evangelio y Jesucristo es la novedad. Los vivientes todavía estamos en los tiempos del Antiguo Testamento e insistimos mucho más en el ayuno que en la acción de gracias por tener presente al Señor entre nosotros. El rostro del amor de Dios se nos ha manifestado en la cruz Cristo y es justo esto lo que nos ha convertido en paños nuevos y odres nuevos. Hoy se necesita decir que el novio sigue en medio de nosotros y más que insistir en el ayuno hay que insistir en que con Dios en medio de nosotros es posible el amor entre los hombres, las mujeres y la Creación.
Pero nosotros seguimos creyendo que somos odres viejos y queremos a través de sacrificios, de abnegación, de entregas, de esfuerzos, de expiaciones, etc…, llenarlos con vino nuevo y nos pasa que se nos va la vida y se nos escapa el buen vino y el nuevo.
Es necesario empezar a creer que el hecho de que Dios está entre nosotros nos ha convertido en odres nuevos, capaces de retener el vino sin que nos rompamos, poder ser testigos del amor que Dios nos tiene y de este modo poder colaborar en la Nueva Creación que está expectante hasta que se manifiesten los hijos de Dios.
El paño nuevo no necesita remiendo y al odre nuevo se le pone vino nuevo y no se revienta. Demos gracias a Dios por el amor que nos tiene.

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said «You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.» She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
