En aquel tiempo, dijo Jesús a sus discípulos: «La paz os dejo, mi paz os doy; no os la doy yo como la da el mundo. Que no turbe vuestro corazón ni se acobarde. Me habéis oído decir: “Me voy y vuelvo a vuestro lado”. Si me amarais, os alegraríais de que vaya al Padre, porque el Padre es más que yo. Os lo he dicho ahora, antes de que suceda, para que cuando suceda creáis.
Ya no hablaré mucho con vosotros, pues se acerca el príncipe del mundo; no es que él tenga poder sobre mi, pero es necesario que el mundo comprenda que yo amo al Padre, y que, como el Padre me ha ordenado, así actúo yo» (San Juan 14, 27-31a).
COMENTARIO
¿Necesito la paz de Jesús en este momento? Hoy tenemos la posibilidad de recibir la paz, no como la da el mundo, esta paz nos permite vivir la anchura del Universo, sabiendo que los hombres somos hermanos ¿Puedo hablar ahora honestamente con Jesús sobre mi necesidad de tener paz, pidiéndole que permita que esta paz me toque donde más la necesite?
