– Un diario alemán publicó la primera foto en la que se ve al Sumo Pontífice Emérito, Benedicto XVI, utilizando un andador para caminar en su residencia.
El diario Bild, conocido por publicaciones sensacionalistas, dio a conocer la imagen el 31 de mayo. La fotografía no fue autorizada por la Santa Sede y aparentemente fue captada por un paparazzi. En ella se ve a Benedicto XVI usando un andador en la terraza del Monasterio Mater Ecclesiae en el Vaticano, donde reside.
En la fotografía también se puede apreciar a su hermano, el sacerdote Georg Ratzinger, sentado junto a un segundo andador.
Benedicto XVI utiliza una gorra blanca para protegerse del sol. A su lado, el Arzobispo Georg Gänswein cuida del Sumo Pontífice Emérito.
La última aparición pública de Benedicto XVI, luego de su renuncia al pontificado, fue en la canonización de San Juan Pablo II y San Juan XXIII. En esa ocasión se le vio de buen semblante y no utilizó el andador para desplazarse.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said «You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.» She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
